What regions make up the GTA?

So, we established the parts of the city of Toronto, this is be a brief post I want to quickly update, so in later posts, you will have a better understanding of the contexts and location of the topic.

The GTA is comprised of 5 regions

-York
-Halton
-Peel
-Durham
-Toronto                        

The area has a population of about 5.6 million, which makes up a large portion of the population of the province.
Outer area is rich in agriculture, in 2001 the revenue from agriculture along was a whopping 6.1 billion dollars, the area is rich with water too, relating back to agriculture. There are many large bodies of water such as Lake Ontario,  Lake Simcoe and the Kawartha Lakes.

   The GTA is the second largest producer of automobiles in North America, all the the major automobiles companies function in the area with large assembly plants in Oakville and Aurora. The area covers a great deal of land 1725 km squared and uses 4 calling codes - (416) (647) (905) (705)
